Happy Belated Brithday Taylor!

Taylor turned 22 on Tuesday (December 13), and what better way to celebrate another banner year than with CMT's Artists of the Year special?

CMT caught up with Taylor on the red carpet of the event, and she opened up about being honored alongside fellow Nashville pals Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Brad Paisley.

"What I love about this event is it feels very low-key and fun and you can bring your friends, you sit at a table. It's very unlike any other award show," she said late last month at the taping in Music City. "Because you're not sitting there wondering who's going to win. There's no anxiety, because you know who's being honored, and it's all about hearing the way the music is presented by other artists. It's really exciting."

Taylor's Getting Crafty!

Taylor has been relaxing after her busy, busy year by getting into the full swing of Christmas!
She's been making snow globes (I gotta try and make one now!) and various other Christmassy things!

Meanwhile, celeb makeup artist for CoverGirl Lorrie Turk was busy giving Swift a softer look. "I wanted to reflect the youthful, fun vibe of this event," Turk told Us.

Face: "I smoothed COVERGIRL Natureluxe Silk Foundation ($11.99, ulta.com) onto her skin followed by a dab of concealer on the inner corners of her eyes. I applied a soft peach blush along her cheekbones to add highlight and color."
Eyes: "With a dampened eyeshadow brush, I brushed on a taupe eye shadow from her lash line to just above her crease and blended in an up and outward motion. On the innermost corners of her eyes, I used a small damp brush to brighten and highlight her eyes with a white eye shadow. I lined just the tops of her lash line with a very thin line using COVERGIRL LineExact Liquid Liner in Very Black ($6.24, target.com). I finished her eyes by applying a couple of coats of mascara to her upper and lower lashes."
Lips: "I applied COVERGIRL ShineBlast Lipgloss in Dazzle ($7.44, walmart.com) directly from the applicator wand and then put it in her purse for any possible touchups later in the evening!"

TAYLOR WINS BIG AGAIN!

After being named the CMA's entertainer of the year, she won the big prize -- artist of the year -- at Sunday night's (Nov. 20) American Music Awards in Los Angeles!

"I just am so shocked and stunned and absolutely out-of-my-mind happy about this," she said. "The fact that the fans have been there for me -- more and more each year -- it just blows my mind. To have gotten to win entertainer of the year at the CMA Awards was just absolutely one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me. And then a few weeks later, here is another one of the most amazing things that has happened to me. I can't even tell you how much I am really loving this fall season so far."

 and as usual she looked gorgeous and elegant with her hair swept to the side, gold sequined strapless dress and simple stylish makeup, one word: Beautiful!
