Taylor named Billboard Woman Of The Year!

Taylor has been named Billboard Woman of the Year, becoming the youngest woman to ever to receive the honor!
The four-time Grammy winner has been the biggest selling albums artists in any genre for the past 12 months.
The 21-year old singer songwriter will receive the honor on Dec. 2 in New York.
Taylor recently earned several other 2011 Billboard Music Awards, including Top Country Album for the five-time platinum-selling "Speak Now."
She also holds several chart records including a Hot 100 record for the most top 10 chart debuts, with seven. Taylor's self-titled 2006 debut album holds the honor of the longest-running album, having been on the Billboard 200 since 2000.
Swift is currently nominated for six 2011 CMA Awards including Entertainer of the Year. She is also preparing for the November release of the CD/DVD and CD/Blu-ray sets of her Speak Now World Tour.

Taylor To Honor Teens At HALO Awards

The TeenNick HALO Awards have recruited some of the biggest names in Hollywood and the music industry to honor teens who are out there doing good in the world. It was announced that Taylor, Jessica Biel and David Beckham will be on hand to shine some light on the good deeds being done by four teens.


Taylor will be paired with 19-year-old James O'Dwyer, who started the Magnolia Disaster Relief, an aid program that aims to offer relief to rural areas hit by tornadoes.

Taylor Swift Album Due 2012!

Taylor has mentioned in a new interview, thats shes written 11 songs for her new album, and that it should be due 2012!!

During an interview with The New Yorker, Swift said she recently decided that life is "about achieving contentment ... you're not always going to be ridiculously happy" — and that newly discovered viewpoint is leaking into her new music.
Throughout her career, we've seen Swift grow from a wide-eyed girl who sings about puppy love to a been-there, done-that young woman who understands heartbreak. Her new songs certainly fit into the progression. "They're sad, if I'm being honest," she said of the 10 songs she's written so far, adding that a recent track she wrote "is about moving on."
Of her abilities as a vocalist, Swift said singing is really just the vehicle to get her ideas out into the world. "I write songs, and my voice is just a way to get those lyrics across," she said.
In an interview with MTV News earlier this year, Swift said her ability to express her feelings in song has grown nearly as much as she has as a person. "I think retrospect will tell a lot. Years from now, I'll look back and go, 'I didn't know anything then,' " she said. "I had this song called 'Picture to Burn' that's talking about how 'I hate your truck' and 'I hate that you ignored me,' 'I hate you,' " she explained. "Now, the way that I would say that and the way that I would feel that kind of pain is a lot different."

Designer Says Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Dress Is His New Best-Seller!

Taylor recruited ‘Project Runway’ winner Christian Siriano for her Wonderstruck perfume commercials, wearing the designer’s plush ballroom gown in the ads. Now, Siriano says the dresses are his most sought-after item, since everyone wants to look just like Taylor Swift in the glamorous gown.

When asked about the super ornate dress Taylor Swift wore in her Wonderstruck promo, Siriano told People, “I have orders all day long on that dress. We can’t make them fast enough.”
